To tell your manager or not….

Not that I have to make this decision right now. I took it a little while ago and told me manager. The things is….telling your manager may have ramifications later….like, on your appraisal. Say, in your team of twelve, only two people can get the best ranking and you have told your manager that you are trying hard to leave the office. Step in your manager’s shoes and try to think that why would he want to make you one of the top two. It’ll be like a no returns investment for him.

So, people….if you have made the decision like I have, make sure that you give the apps your best shot and apply to a safety school for sure. Well, that’s all I got today!!
